Agaricus subrufescens is now one of the most popular mushroom supplements in Japan and Taiwan, as well as the third most popular in the US. Known as the almond mushroom due to its almond taste.
Optimised mycelial biomass combined with hot-water extract delivering high levels of beta-glucans and related poly saccharides. Contains 30% polysaccharides (beta-glucans / proteoglycans)
The mushroom biomass we use to manufacture MycoNutri Sun Agaric is grown for us in the USA on sterile grain-based substrate and is optimized to maximise substrate conversion and hence mycelial production.
The biomass contains the full spectrum of active metabolites from the mycelium and young fruiting body of the mushroom, including beta-glucans, other intra- and extra-cellular polysaccharides, phytosterols (including ergosterol – provitamin D2), proteoglycans, proteins and lipids.
We then blend it with a hot-water extract containing high levels of polysaccharides to reinforce its health-promoting properties with the combined product having a minimum of 30% polysaccharides.
